As part of the in-house capacity development and professionalism, a week-long hands-on training on Chainsaw Operations began in Gidakom FMU from 2nd August – 8th August 2022.
Three trainers/resource persons from within the company are providing the training to 18 field staff from across all regions and branches of the company.
During the training kick-off session at Gidakom FMU, the Chief Executive Officer of the company highlighted and reminded the participants on the need to develop the in-house capacity as a professional agency engaged in the management of natural resources in the country. They were encouraged to take up the training seriously, as it would ultimately benefit the individuals and the company at larger. Further, the participants were reminded on safety measures and professional code of conduct to be maintained while undergoing the training.
